I subscribed to bloglines, and I see it is a useful service if you want easy access to your favourite blogs from any computer.
On my personal machine, however, I use live bookmarks in Firefox. From a blog site, I click on the orange icon located to the right of the url (or elsewhere), then click the subscribe button on the next page to have the blog title appear as a toolbar which will drop down a menu of the latest postings.
I find checking for new postings through my toolbars to be more convenient than logging on to bloglines, but I don’t know that such personal settings would be saved if set up on a Polytech machine.

Thanks Neil, I must give it a go at home too.
